Meet Zack Williams, our Student Affairs Student Spotlight!
Zack is a junior at Tennessee Tech double majoring in Sociology: Criminal Justice and Computer Science: Cybersecurity. Originally from Tullahoma, Tennessee, he has been actively involved on campus through the Student Government Association, the Sociology/Criminal Justice Club, and as a Junior Ambassador for the Cybersecurity Education Research and Outreach Center (CEROC).

Champlevé Enameling with Wyatt NP
Join the Appalachian Center for Craft at our champlevé enameling weekend workshop from May 22-24. Learn the essential skills of saw-and-solder champlevé enameling, including piercing, filing, soldering, and both sifting and wet-packing enamel. Students will focus on working with opaque colors to create multiple samples and a finished enameled piece. While some metalsmithing experience is helpful, prior knowledge of the subject is not required. Participants with some prior metalsmithing experience may deepen their understanding, while beginners will gain a solid foundation. This workshop introduces key techniques while encouraging creativity and experimentation.

Halcyon: Jesse Thompson Senior Thesis Exhibition
Tennessee Tech School of Art, Craft & Design student Jesse Thompson invites you to experience his newest creation at his senior thesis exhibition – Halcyon: A Cosmic Coming of Age Tale. This immersive art installation takes you on a journey through time, inspired by the 1970s retrofuturism resurgence and campy 70s/80s sci-fi flicks. Exhibition in the Lakeview Gallery of the Appalachian Center for Craft, April 22-29, 2026.

Eagle Works to Showcase Student Innovation April 18
Eagle Works will host its annual pitch competition Saturday, April 18, in Roaden University Center 282. The tradeshow and preliminaries are from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by finals from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Students will present innovative business ideas and compete for scholarship funding. Golden Eagle Battalion Golf Scramble
The Golden Eagle Battalion will host a Golf Scramble on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at White Plains Golf Course. Registration is 7:00 a.m. and Shotgun start is 8:00 a.m. Registration is $250.00 per team. All proceeds go towards supporting the TN Tech ROTC Program.
