    Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and other micro-transportation devices must be operated safely on campus. Yield to pedestrians, pass only when safe, travel on the right, obey traffic signals and stop signs, and do not use headphones while riding. On sidewalks or walkways, operate at pedestrian pace when pedestrians are present. Refer to Tennessee Tech Policy 191 for complete requirements.

  • College Fair Bus Traffic on McGee Boulevard on Wednesday, Aug. 26

    Students, faculty and staff should expect increased bus traffic on McGee Boulevard in front of Hooper Eblen Center from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26, due to the Upper Cumberland College Fair.

    Those traveling to campus during this time are encouraged to avoid McGee Boulevard when possible and use an alternate route to help reduce congestion.

    All Tech faculty and staff are invited to enjoy up to four FREE tickets in the new Tucker Stadium West Side for the Golden Eagles’ Aug. 29 home opener against Monmouth University!

    To claim your free tickets, refer to the link and promo code sent to your Tech email on Thursday, Aug. 20. The promo code can be applied to seats in sections 101, 102, 103, 105, 106 and 107 on the stadium’s new West Side. You’ll also have the option to purchase additional tickets, if desired. Please use your Tech email when completing your ticket order.

    Don’t miss your chance to experience opening day in the new Tucker Stadium, where you’ll also find expanded concessions, food trucks, comfortable chairback seating and a lively pregame and halftime performance by our Golden Eagle Marching Band.

    Tailgating begins at 3 p.m., and the Eagle Walk begins at 3:30 p.m. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and the pregame show begins at approximately 5:30 p.m. Kickoff is at 6 p.m.

    In Tennessee, scooters must follow the same traffic laws as bicycles. Ride with the flow of traffic and stay as far to the right as safely possible. Obey traffic signals and signs, yield when required, and remain alert to your surroundings. Ride responsibly and help keep yourself and others safe.
