Succulent Sale Firefighter Fundraiser
Psychology Club is hosting a Fundraiser for the Doyle Volunteer Fire Department which is our that helps us in times of emergency!
The Preorder form is preferred if you want a specific type of succulent ($5). Pickup will be at Centennial Plaza from 11am – 1pm and in Sparta March 27th. There will be Succulents ($5) available for purchase at Centennial Plaza!

ODK Presents: Leadership in Action with Dr. Lamar Bryant
Omicron Delta Kappa is hosting a leadership workshop entitled “Leadership in Action: Effectively Leading with or without a Title” with guest speaker Dr. Lamar Bryant from University of Tennessee Knoxville. This event is open to all. There will be free food and Dr. Bryant will lead attendees through different exercises on leadership. It will be in the Tech Pride room on March 25th from 6pm to 7:30pm.

Ph.D. Student Jasmine Reynolds Awarded Prestigious NBCC Minority Fellowship
Jasmine Reynolds, a Ph.D. student in Counseling and Supervision at Tennessee Tech University, has been awarded the prestigious Minority Fellowship Program (MFP) scholarship, administered by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). This federally funded program has supported over 400 doctoral- and master’s-level students since 2012, fostering diversity within the counseling profession. As an MFP Fellow, Reynolds will contribute to the field through research, education, and service, helping to expand mental health access in underserved communities while advancing innovative counseling initiatives.

French Movie Night – Tuesday, March 11 at 6 pm
Come watch a heartwarming French movie about a choir!
Clément Mathieu, an unemployed music teacher accepts a position as supervisor at Fond de l’Etang, a boarding school for troubled boys. In this school, the discipline is strict, and Mathieu has issues adapting. He decides to initiate the children to music and starts a choir that will change their life.
The movie will be shown in French with English subtitles on Tuesday, March 11, at 6 p.m. in Henderson Hall 205. Free event. Come with friends!

Women in Economics Symposium Watch Party
The Economics Department will be hosting a Watch Party for the Women in Economics Symposium given by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. The Federal Reserve will feature the Watch Party on its video recording. The sessions will include talks by role models on careers in economics. Panelists will provide practical tips about job searching and more. The 2025 symposium will feature keynote speakers Cecilia Rouse, president of the Brookings Institution, and Ali Wolf, Chief Economist at Zonda. The symposium will be on Thursday, March 27th, from 4 pm to 8 pm. The event is by invitation only. Anyone interested can contact Dr. Chelsea Dowell at ctdowell@tntech.edu.

Nominations for the 2025 Derryberry Award due March 14
The 2025 Derryberry Award nomination deadline is Friday, March 14. This award was established in honor of the late Everett Derryberry after 34 years as president of Tennessee Tech. This prestigious honor grants a plaque and cash award to a graduating senior who demonstrates a high level of scholastic achievement and successful campus involvement in leadership and enrichment opportunities.
