General Complaint Reporting
Tennessee Tech has a form on Internal Audit’s website for confidentially reporting complaints about accounting, internal control, auditing matters, code of conduct, discrimination/harassment/retaliation, and other issues that are NOT fraud, waste, or abuse. Complainants remain COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS to Internal Audit unless the last section of the form is completed. General complaints received on this form are routed to appropriate campus departments for follow-up.
The form can be submitted online or completed, printed, and mailed to Internal Audit, PO Box 5154, Cookeville, TN 38505.

I Heart Tech Students’ impact on the Eagle Assistance Grant
Two weeks down, and four weeks to go in our 6th annual I Heart Tech Students fundraising initiative! Thank you to everyone who has made a gift so far!

Sound Therapy Workshop – Part 1 of Relax, Revive, and Reboot
Please join us for our 3-part workshop series: Relax, Revive, and Reboot! The sessions will consist of sound therapy, light therapy, and sensory therapy. The first session will be sound therapy, where we get to listen to 8 minutes of the most relaxing song ever recorded: Weightless by Marconi Union. Trumpet Day
Please join us for Trumpet Day on Saturday, March 23rd from 10am – 5pm. This year’s featured guest artist is the world famous trumpeter, Caleb Hudson, who toured with the Canadian Brass and is currently the trumpet professor at the University of Texas at Austin. Registration is free for all TnTech students, faculty, and staff. Registration is $15 for non-TTU folks, and that includes access to all events, lunch, and a swag bag. Become a Student Leadership Awards Reviewer
The Student Leadership Awards program, sponsored by the Student Government Association and Omicron Delta Kappa, seeks to strengthen students’ sense of connection to and appreciation for the University community, express appreciation for student leadership and contributions to the institution, and highlight student leadership excellence as an example to continuing students. Please consider supporting this program as an applicant reviewer. Reviewers will have March 8-21 to review and rate applications. Ervin Malakaj, Guest Speaker
Center Stage presents guest speaker, Ervin Malakaj on “Toward a Pedagogy of Unwellness” Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. in Stonecipher 113.
Ervin Malakaj, PhD, is associate professor of German studies at the University of British Columbia, Canada. He has written widely on media history with a specialization in queer German studies. Dr. Malakaj has co-founded the international scholarly collective Diversity, Decolonization, and the German Curriculum and has been an ardent language and culture

Submit an abstract for Student Research & Creative Inquiry Day by March 11
The 19th Annual Research and Creative Inquiry Day will be Wednesday and Thursday, Apr. 17 and 18, 2024 at Memorial Gym. To participate in the event, students must submit an abstract (limited to 250 words) of their project by 11:59 p.m. Monday, March 11. It is expected that each submitted abstract will be developed into a poster (or paper for those in the English Department) to be presented during the event.

WEST Workshop 2/29: Basic Grammar Strategies
Do you struggle with grammar in your writing? Looking for some ways to improve beyond just diagramming sentences or memorizing rules? WEST, the Writing Excellence Studio at Tech, is here to help! On Thursday, 2/29, we will be leading a dead hour workshop on basic grammar strategies. We can talk about common issues and how to learn to edit your own work. The workshop will be in Henderson Hall 216A, from 11:00-11:50. No registration is required, and all are welcome.
