General Education Award Nominations Open!
The General Education Award for Outstanding Teaching is awarded to a full-time or part-time faculty member, instructor, or graduate teaching assistant for outstanding instruction in a general education course. Any student, faculty member, administrator, or recent graduate may nominate a teacher for this award. Two winners are selected each year to receive a plaque or certificate and a monetary award. Distinguished Service Learning Award Nominations Open!
Service Learning is a teaching and learning strategy that integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience, teach civic responsibility, and strengthen communities. Tech Togetherness Awards Nominations Open!
Nominations are now being accepted for the Tech Togetherness Awards sponsored by the Office of the Provost. Become a Student Leadership Awards Reviewer!
The Student Leadership Awards program, sponsored by the Student Government Association, seeks to strengthen students’ sense of connection to and appreciation for the University community, express appreciation for student leadership and contributions to the institution, and highlight student leadership excellence as an example to continuing students. Please consider supporting this program as an applicant reviewer. Reviewers will have the week of March 20 to read and rate a small number of applications. Help to make the program happen while reading about the ways our amazing students are making a difference at Tech! Please email Ben Stubbs at bstubbs@tntech.edu to be added as a reviewer.

Purple Career Readiness Workshop on March 2: Employer Panel Discussion
Join the Center for Career Development on Thursday, March 2, beginning at 11 a.m. in Clement Hall Room 212 for this Purple Career Readiness Workshop! Employers from Mr. Russ Coughenour, Center for Career Development Director, will share their tips and advice on how to impress a potential company after graduating college.
This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Purple Career Readiness Certificate for junior and senior students. Bring your Eagle Card with you to receive credit for attendance.

Electronic 1095Cs Are Now Available Online
To review your Electronic 1095C – Log into TechExpress (https://express.tntech.edu). Select “Eagle” button from the Quicklinks area to go to Eagle Online. Select the Employee tab, and your 1095C is located under Tax Forms.
Paper 1095Cs were mailed February 28th for employees who did not consent to receiving the electronic version. Employees who wish to receive 1095Cs electronically in the future can select Electronic Regulatory Consent in Tech Express under Tax Forms.
We encourage employees to select Electronic Regulatory Consent as it reduces the risk of others obtaining your personal information through mail theft.

Free Courtside Tickets to OVC Basketball Tournament for TTU Students*
The Golden Eagle men’s and women’s basketball teams will be competing in the OVC Tournament in Evansville this week. The women earned the #3 seed and the men are #2 seed- highest seed since 2005!
FREE COURTSIDE TICKETS are available for TTU students! Limited to the first 40 students. To reserve tickets, visit the TTU Ticket Office in the Hooper Eblen Center or call (931) 372-3940. All courtside tickets must be reserved by 12:00 pm on Wednesday, Feb. 1st.

Commuter Coffee Event to Launch Off Campus and Commuter Network
Come out and get free Soul Craft Coffee and Meg’s Bread pastries from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. on March 2 outside the Angelo and Jennette Volpe Library and learn more information about the new Off Campus and Commuter Network that the Center for Student Engagement is launching. Off Campus and Commuter Network’s purpose is to help students get involved on and off campus. It is also a place to go for help in receiving campus and community resources. The Off Campus and Commuter Networks desire is for this to become a tool that students can use to help them thrive off campus.
