    Submit causes for 2025 I Heart Tech Students fundraising campaign

    Each year, Tennessee Tech’s “I Heart Tech Students” fundraising campaign raises money for areas on campus that directly benefit students: scholarships, programs and resources that enrich their college experience. We invite you to submit causes for your college, department or program.

    I Heart Tech Students will run from February 27 through March 27, 2025. (We are shortening it to four weeks this year.)

    All causes must be submitted in full by January 31, 2025. Anything submitted after this date cannot be included. Submit your cause by completing this form: https://forms.office.com/r/DzrpRjhhdX

  • 2024 Holiday Payroll Deadlines-December update

    December Deadlines
    • November leave reports are due by Tuesday, December 3rd (Approvals due Friday, December 6th)
    • Extra Pay timesheets are due by 4:30 PM on Thursday, December 5th
    • December Student and Temp payroll is on Thursday, December 12th
    • All other payroll items normally due on the 15th are due on Tuesday, December 10th
    • December TCP approvals need to be approved through Friday, December 20th. The remaining can be approved after returning from break.
    • December monthly payroll is on Friday, December 20th
    • Any checks not picked up will be mailed at noon on December 20th

    January Deadlines
    • Final December approval of Student/Temp payroll in Time Clock Plus is due by noon on Thursday, January 2, 2024.
    • December leave reports are due by Friday, January 3rd (Approvals due Tuesday, January 7th)

  • Volunteers Needed for TTU Basketball Education Day

    Volunteers Needed for TTU Basketball Education Day

    TTU Athletics will be hosting its annual Education Day basketball game on Friday, December 6th. We will be welcoming over 5,550 local K-8 students to the game, representing 31 schools from 10 counties. Volunteers are needed to help as liaisons during the event. Each volunteer will be assigned to a school and will escort them to their seats, hand out glowsticks, etc. A staff meeting will take place the day of the event (before the schools begin to arrive) where we will go over everything in detail.

    A free t-shirt will be provided, as well as a free lunch after the game.

    Volunteers are needed on Friday, December 6th from 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Volunteers must be available during that entire time. If you are interested, please send an email to jratti@tntech.edu and include your t-shirt size.

    Today is Giving Tuesday, an international day of giving where people all over the world support the causes that inspire them. If you planned to make a gift today, we hope you’ll consider Tennessee Tech!

    Upcoming Deadlines for Non-Instructional Faculty Assignments 2025-2026

    Non-instructional faculty assignments (NIFA) proposals are due to department chairs by January 10, 2025. NIFA are designed to contribute to the professional growth of the faculty, improve teaching and curriculum across the University, and/or enhance scholarship and academic excellence of Tennessee Tech in ways that cannot be accomplished under constraints of regular workload assignments.   • Faculty Research Committee Announces Call for Proposals

    The Faculty Research Committee is soliciting proposals for funding for FY 2024-25.
    The deadline to submit proposals and all required application materials to the Office of Research is Feb. 21, 2025. Materials may be submitted electronically via email to jdicey@tntech.edu or hand delivered to Derryberry Hall, Room 305.
