    Greek Night at Tennessee Tech Basketball – February 13

    Are you a member of a fraternity or sorority? Join us for Greek Night at the Men’s and Women’s Basketball games on Tuesday, February 13 (5:30pm and 7:30pm). Alumni and employees wearing their Greek letters will gain free admission to the games and are invited to the Fraternity & Sorority Life Reception between games at the West Concourse (near the Willow Ave entrance). Standard admission rates apply for unaffiliated attendees.

  • 2024 Annual Student Research and Creative Inquiry Day

    The 19th Annual Research and Creative Inquiry Day will be Wednesday and Thursday, Apr. 17 and 18, 2024 at Memorial Gym.  To participate in the event, students must submit an abstract (limited to 250 words) of their project by 11:59 p.m. Monday, March 11. It is expected that each submitted abstract will be developed into a poster (or paper for those in the English Department) to be presented during the event.

    Valentine Masquerade- Thursday 2/15

    Join us on Thursday, February 15th at 8:00pm for the Swing Dance Club Valentine Masquerade! We will be meeting in the Multipurpose Room of the RUC for an evening of swing and other ballroom dances. Masks will be provided (while supplies last) or you can wear your own, and we encourage you to dress semi-formal or formal. We will also be serving refreshments so swing on by! No dance experience is required!

    “A Dream Too Big” with Caylin Moore, Feb. 12th

    Caylin Moore has become a celebrated author, speaker, and future university professor. He is a former football student-athlete and graduate of Texas Christian University where he became the founder and president of S.P.A.R.K., a community outreach organization encouraging youth to pursue education as a means of community uplift, and he was a Rhodes Scholar. He’s been featured in an ESPN cover story, on NBC, and Good Morning America. Caylin will share his journey and his book, “A Dream Too Big: The Story of an Improbable Journey from Compton to Oxford” on Monday, Feb. 12th at 6 pm in the RUC Multipurpose Room. Join our trauma recovery group to learn about the different ways trauma can affect us, develop techniques that may help in times of distress, as well as being a positive support for others who also struggle with the same experiences.     Behavioral health – which includes mental health, substance use, and more – is a key part of your overall well-being. Brief screenings are the quickest way to determine if you or someone you care about should connect with a behavioral health professional. Think of these as a checkup from your neck up. The Counseling Center offers the Mindwise Brief Screening program which is completely anonymous and confidential, and immediately following the brief questionnaire you will see your results, recommendations, and key resources.     Tennessee Tech AIChE is hosting a fundraiser night at the Interstate Drive Chipotle on Wednesday, February 7th from 5 – 9 p.m. A portion of the night’s proceeds will be donated to the chapter to cover costs for our attendance AIChE Southern Regional Student Conference in Auburn University.
