Student Affairs Student Spotlight – Madison Kibbe
Meet Madison, our March Student Affairs Student Spotlight! Originally from Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Madison is a senior at Tennessee Tech University majoring in Environmental & Sustainability Studies. She has dedicated herself to service, from building homes in Sneedville, TN, to distributing medication in El Magueyal, El Salvador. Madison is actively involved in the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and Servants of Christ (SOC), supporting women in STEM and engaging in faith-based community service. Her volunteer efforts extend beyond campus, including disaster relief, preparing meals for veterans and widows, and working with nonprofits supporting vulnerable communities.

Madness in Mem Gym
College of Education and Human Sciences Student Ambassadors are putting on a Madness in Mem Gym fundraiser! It’s a 3v3 men’s and women’s division basketball tournament. It’s March 10th from 6-8 and winners will be getting a trophy, gift cards from local business, and other fun prizes. There will also be door prizes for fans/spectators! It’s $15 per team. You can sign up with your team via the QR code or on Eagle Engage.

CyberEagles Meeting: Oak Ridge National Lab Speaker
Join CyberEagles at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 6, in Prescott Hall 215 as we are joined by a guest speaker from Oak Ridge National Lab! Connor Gannon is a Tech alum who now works in the National Security Sciences Directorate at ORNL. Connor’s background includes work in vulnerability research, unmanned vehicle security modeling and simulations, red team campaigns for detection system analysis, and currently threat intelligence analysis. Free lunch will be provided for attendees!
