    Join UCSC for our monthly time of worship together on Thursday, February 26th starting at 9 pm. We will join together for a time of worship lead by Collegeside’s worship minister.   • Applications for the Scholastic Research Award are now being accepted

    The Scholastic Research Award, presented by the University Research Advisory Committee, is a university-wide award for a single, significant and innovative work produced, published, performed or exhibited from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2025. Two awards, of $1,500 each, are available each year, with one reserved for tenure-track faculty and the other reserved for tenured faculty. Applications must be submitted electronically in a single PDF to jdicey@tntech.edu or before March 20, 2026. For complete application requirements, please visit the Office of Sponsored Programs website, and select the section for the Scholastic Research Award.

    The Servants of Christ will host guest speaker Marlin Williams on February 19 at 7 p.m. in Bell Hall Auditorium, Room 237.   • Title VI and Translation Services

    Tennessee Tech must provide translation assistance to individuals with Limited English Proficiency in relation to university programs and services. Failure to do so is a violation of Title VI and Tennessee Tech policy.

    Tennessee Tech contracted with Avaza Language Services (Avaza) to provide translation assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in over 200 languages. Departments will receive placards containing instructions and unique codes for accessing these services. These unique codes, which are on the back of each placard, should not be shared with unauthorized users. For more information contact the Compliance Office at compliance@tntech.edu or 931-372-6005.

    TTU Athletics hires Bruner and Saulat for Revenue Generation

    In a new partnership with Taymar Sales, TTU Athletics has hired two new employees to lead the SoCon sales push!  Blake Bruner will be General Manager of Revenue Generation in charge of corporate partnerships and increasing sales.  Carter Saulat will be Director of Ticket Sales and Operations to focus on increasing attendance and enhancing the gameday experience.  Reach out to them if you have any ideas or people to meet in the Cookeville area!

    This Thursday, February 19th, at 7pm in Bruner 228, join the Esports Club for a night of food, gaming, and fun! All are welcomed! Master’s student, Mikel Gonzalez, is surveying his new quantum game, so drop by if you’re interested in playtesting. We will also be preparing for our annual charity stream.

    The Esports Club is a space for competitive and casual gaming alike, so whatever you play, there is a place for you here. In addition to monthly in-person meetings, come to our community nights hosted on Discord, where we play a variety of different games.
