BIDE (Body Image and Disordered Eating) is an all-inclusive peer support group that promotes self-growth and self-acceptance. Have a body and not sure how to feel about it? You are welcome here. TTU Miracle will be participating in a Giving Day benefiting Monroe Carroll Jr.’s Children Hospital in Nashville Wednesday, February 3rd through Thursday, February 4th. W-2s for 2020 released!
Electronic W-2s are now available online!
Update on Electronic W-2s. First log into TechExpress (https://express.tntech.edu). Select Eagle button from the Quicklinks area. This will take you to Eagle Online. Select the Employee tab, and your W-2 is located under Tax Forms. Please note that your PIN is not required if you use Tech Express.
Paper W-2s were mailed January 22nd for employees who did not consent to receiving the electronic version. Employees who wish to receive W-2’s electronically in the future can select Electronic Regulatory Consent in Tech Express under Tax Forms. We encourage employees to select Electronic Regulatory Consent as it reduces the risk of others obtaining your personal information through mail theft.

An Evening with Joy Harjo, 23rd Poet Laureate of the United States
Joy Harjo is an internationally reknowed performer and writer of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. Author of nine books of poetry, several plays and children’s books, and two memoirs, she has also served two terms as the official U.S. Poet Laureate.

Internship Opportunities: Upper Cumberland Development District
Rural Reimagined invites all students to get involved with paid or academic credit hour internships through the Upper Cumberland Development District (UCDD) this semester. There are paid, college credit hour, service learning, or job shadowing internship positions ranging from 7-20 hours/week available including marketing, event planning, communications, data collection, finance, IT support, social media management, research, grant writing, and more. TN Tech students in the past have had great experiences through UCDD internships, and Rural Reimagined encourages students from all majors and skill sets to get involved! ASME’s First Meeting of the Semester: Feb 4th
ASME will be hosting the Center for Career Development at our first meeting of the semester on Thursday, February 4th in Brown Hall Rooms 236 & 237 during Dead Hour. Information regarding the upcoming career fair will be shared along with information about the new Resume books that are being passed out to employers. The MLK You Never Knew: Celebrating His Legacy
Join esteemed speaker, Rasheed Ali Cromwell, Esq., for a virtual educational experience that dives deep into the lessons of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy, Monday, January 25 at 6 p.m.
The presenter employs an interactive and engaging approach, utilizing a multi-media platform that includes video clips, historical photos and virtual interactive activities, to provide a historical narrative, compelling examples and thought provoking dialogue that honors Dr. King’s legacy. The presentation celebrates this legacy and challenges participants to honor it with personal calls to action.

TN Tech’s Grand Challenge: Rural Reimagined offers several opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and the community to transform rural living through internships, coursework, research, and service learning. The initiative harnesses science, technology, innovation, and economic development to identify and solve rural-related challenges. Since March 2019, Rural Reimagined has made over 3,000 interactions throughout campus and the community.
