  • Baja SAE Team Informational Meeting

    Your TN Tech Baja SAE Team will host its first meeting of the year Wednesday, August 25th at 6PM in Prescott 215. This meeting is for anyone wanting to join the team. Any TN Tech student can join as long as they are in good academic standing at the University. We will be going over more information on the team as well as take you on a tour of our shops.   • Alpha Phi Omega Info Meetings This Week

    Alpha Phi Omega invites any students interested in community service to join us this week to learn more about our organization. We’re hosting informational meetings in:

    Monday, Aug 23 — 6 pm — LSC 1211
    Tuesday, Aug 24 — 11 am — TJ Farr 106

    Alpha Phi Omega is the world’s largest international community service organization with over 350 chapters in the United States, Canada and the Philippines. We have over 500,000 alumni that have planned millions of hours of service projects, including disaster relief, blood drives, donation drives, and more!

    Wed are currently expanding and adding a new chapter here at Tennessee Tech University. We would love to have any interested student join us.

  • First Speech & Debate Practice of the Semester

    First Speech & Debate Practice of the Semester

    The Speech and Debate Team will be having their first practice of the semester on Monday, August 23rd at 6:30 pm in Henderson 004. Everyone is welcome! Our team often boasts a variety of majors and years and you could be part of that! No speech and debate practice experience required; we will teach you! This first practice will be a great opportunity to show any interest in the team, find out information, and ask questions. If you can’t make it to this practice, but you’re interested in finding out more, we practice every Monday and Wednesday at 6:30 PM in Henderson 004.

  • TTU Men’s Soccer Club Tryouts

    TTU Men’s Soccer Club Tryouts

    Did you play soccer growing up? Would you like to continue your soccer career in a fun but competitive environment? Come tryout for the Tennessee Tech Men’s Soccer Club (TTUMSC)! We are a competitive club team that plays in Region 2 of the NIRSA conference against other schools like UTK, MTSU, and Vanderbilt. We are looking to build on the successes of our previous seasons while also looking to rebuild our squad depth.

    Tryouts will be held on Wednesday, August 18th from 7-9PM while callbacks will be Thursday, August 19th from 7:30-9PM. These will both be on Field 1 of the Putnam County Sports Complex (497 Whiteaker Springs Rd, Cookeville, TN 38506).

    Please stop by our booth at Mix and Mingle to signup or receive more information regarding tryouts and the club.

    Game Dev Club Guest Speaker – Jordan Magnuson

    The Game Dev Club is pleased to announce that Jordan Magnuson will be speaking with us! Jordan Magnuson is a game designer, known for games such games as “Loneliness” and “Freedom Bridge,” and founded the influential indie developer forum TIGSource. He holds an MFA in Digital Art & New Media from the University of California Santa Cruz. Jordan will be joining us on April 29th at 11:00am, at Clement Hall 212. Students may also attend via Zoom.
