    The Data Science League invites you to join them on Tuesday, October 19 in Bruner Hall 228 at 11 am for a research presentation from CSC Professor, Dr. Doug Talbert and his PhD Student, Katie Brown.
    As complex machine learning becomes more effective in medicine, the need for techniques to increase users’ understanding and trust of artificial intelligence (AI) grows too. This talk will introduce attendees eXplanatory AI (XAI), discuss XAI techniques and challenges in the context of medicine, and present some of their recent work in this important and growing field of study. Pizza will be provided.

    The Computer Science Graduate Student Club is back with a brand-new seminar series this Fall 2021. Mahmoud Abouyoussef, a Computer Science Ph.D. student, will be talking about his research titled “Blockchain-based Networking Strategy For Privacy-Preserving Demand Side Management”.

    The research seminar is scheduled on Monday, October 4th from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in Bruner Hall 410.

    Tech Men’s Soccer Club Takes on UTC at Home

    Come support the Tennessee Tech Men’s Soccer Club as they take on UTC at home this Saturday (09/25)! Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00PM at the Putnam County Sports Complex (497 Whiteaker Springs Rd, Cookeville)!

    TTUMSC is undefeated so far after picking up wins against Murray State, WKU, and Vanderbilt as they look to continue building on their success by facing a strong UTC team.
