    The Computer Science Graduate Student Club is back with a brand-new seminar series this Fall 2021. Mahmoud Abouyoussef, a Computer Science Ph.D. student, will be talking about his research titled “Blockchain-based Networking Strategy For Privacy-Preserving Demand Side Management”.

    The research seminar is scheduled on Monday, October 4th from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in Bruner Hall 410.

William Johnson, a Computer Science PH.D.  student, will be talking about “Embedded systems that make up the Internet of Things (IoT), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) networks, and Smart Grid applications are coming under increasing scrutiny in the security field.” Free Food will be provided!!

    Tech Men’s Soccer Club Takes on UTC at Home

    Come support the Tennessee Tech Men’s Soccer Club as they take on UTC at home this Saturday (09/25)! Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00PM at the Putnam County Sports Complex (497 Whiteaker Springs Rd, Cookeville)!

    TTUMSC is undefeated so far after picking up wins against Murray State, WKU, and Vanderbilt as they look to continue building on their success by facing a strong UTC team.

    Tennessee Tech Ducks Unlimited 2021 Inaugural Meeting and Officer Election

    The first 2021 Tennessee Tech Ducks Unlimited meeting will be held Thursday, September 23 at 6:00 PM in Oakley Hall room 137.   If you are interested in wetland conservation and conserving the natural resources for duck habitat then please come and join other students who have the same interest.  You do not have to be a current member to come to the first meeting.     Are you interested in image analysis, deep learning, using satellite imagery for feature analysis, or just learning something new? Please join the Data Science League for the official Image Analysis Contest Kickoff on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 11 am in Bruner Hall 327. We are collaborating with Dr. Bradley Cohen in the Department of Biological Sciences to offer members a chance to perform Data Science to detect flooded cornfields for landscape-scale conservation of migrating and wintering waterfowl in West Tennessee and the Lower Mississippi Alluvial Valley.
