    Gala Night & Handing Over Ceremony —ASU

    African Student Union (ASU)’s Gala Night & Handing Over Ceremony is almost here, and all students are invited to join for an elegant evening of celebration. Enjoy a formal gala experience, African cuisine, officers’ awards night, and the official handing over ceremony as they honor leadership and community.

    The event will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 6 pm to 8 pm in the Multipurpose Room (RUC, 282). This event is open to all students, so bring a friend and come dressed to impress.

  • Student Veteran Organization Glass Smash Event

    This Wednesday on April 22nd, the Student Veteran Organization will be hosting our glass smash fundraising event in the Quad. This event will start around 8:30 am and finish at 4pm.  Students and faculty are encouraged to stop by and take a swing smashing some glassware. Just in time for those finals frustrations.

    Tech students compete in 2026 Ron Jon Cocoa Beach Triathlon

    Tennessee Tech students and faculty competed in the 2026 Ron Jon Cocoa Beach Triathlon on April 12 in Florida. Participants included Clay Wesley (Business), Nolan Merchant (Business Management), Brayden Clark (Mechanical Engineering), Carson Hall (HR/Management), Davis Hesselrode (Finance), and Gracie Gore (Civil Engineering). Gracie won Female First Timers, Nolan placed top 10 Male First Timers, and Brayden took third in the 20–24 age group.

  • English Club: Sigma Tau Delta Initiation & Officer Meeting

    Please join us as we welcome our newest members into the Tennessee Tech University chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the National English Honors Society, on April 14th during dead hour in Henderson Hall 216A. 

    During this informal initiation ceremony, you will receive your membership certificate and pin, and we’ll take a moment to recognize each of you as part of our community. 

    We will also be holding elections for new officers during this meeting. If you’re interested in serving as president, vice president, or secretary, you are more than welcome to nominate yourself or a peer at the meeting—no advance notice or preparation is required.

    Pi Sigma Alpha invites you to join us for our Sexual Assault Awareness Month event, Take Back the Night!

    The event will take place on April 7th from 6-8 pm in the Tech Pride Room.

    The evening will include a catered reception, support resources, and our keynote speaker, Jenna Huff, Assistant District Attorney for the 13th District. Come take part in an evening of Education, Empowerment & Healing for Survivors of Sexual Violence.

    Trailblazer applications open April 2nd through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions! Students who have completed at least one semester at Tennessee Tech are eligible to apply.
