Book club meetings will be held virtually via zoom the first Friday morning of every month during the spring semester.     Join the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning on Tuesday, January 25th at 11 AM to learn how to leverage Microsoft Teams for your courses. We will discuss the differences in Teams versus links, as well as how to use channels and files. We will also walk through the process of setting up meeting links and integrating Teams within iLearn.

    Golden Eagles Serves – Volunteer with us Jan. 21st & 28th

    Help us in serving our Tech and local communities by volunteering this week and next week in our Days of Service in honor of the legacy of Dr. King! Join Multicultural Affairs, Service Learning and the Commission on the Status of  Blacks (CSB) on Friday, Jan. 21st or Jan. 28th to help restock our Food Pantries and to provide books to our local Head Start Program. On Jan. 21st, we will shop for the pantry and restock the 2 campus locations. On Jan. 28th, we will sort books and pack boxes to take to the local Head Start locations. Times for volunteering are 10 am – 2 pm each Friday.

    Friday Focus sessions are designed to provide just-in-time resources and information for faculty throughout the semester. Each session focuses on a different resource, tool, or program available to faculty. During this session, Dr. Kevin Harris, Associate Director of the Office of Institutional Assessment, Research, and Effectiveness will share information on reviewing your IDEA evaluation reports from last semester.  Join us on Friday, January 21st at 11 AM  via Microsoft Teams.

    Respondus Suite

    Respondus Monitor is an instructional technology that builds on the power of using Respondus LockDown browser by helping educators monitor students during quizzes or online assessments. Respondus Monitor uses a student’s webcam and industry-leading video analytics to help prevent cheating during non-proctored exams. During this session, participants will learn how to successfully integrate the use of Respondus Monitor in their course, from turning on the proper setting in iLearn to accessibility and other additional features.
