    Child Development Lab Costume Parade 2024

    The Child Development Lab invites you to participate in our annual Costume Parade. Each October, the children and families from the CDL march through campus and around the quad, collecting treats along the way! Individuals, office teams, departments, or campus groups are invited to participate by completing the form (https://forms.office.com/r/N7fRxskvva) to reserve a table. Participants are encouraged to dress up and decorate their table. Once the children arrive at the quad they will stop at each table to collect treats. Thank you for helping to make this event a success!

    Graduate Chemistry Club Bake Sale Oct 10

    The Graduate Chemistry Club (GCC) will be holding a bake sale in the south atrium of the Laboratory Science Commons on Thursday, Oct 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a variety of baked goods available and we accept cash and card. Funds raised go toward helping support registration expenses for graduate students to present their research at national conferences.     This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Gold Career Readiness Certificate for freshman and sophomore students. Bring your Eagle Card.

    Career Spots are pop-up tabling events held by Career Ambassadors in areas across campus! You can drop-in for a quick chat and gather all kinds of information about Handshake, how to find examples of resumes/cover letters, and upcoming events held like career fairs. With Career Spots, there isn’t a need for an appointment but bring your Eagle Card for attendance credit. Check Handshake to see all the upcoming dates!

  • Be kind and avoid towing by not double parking on residential streets

    The Parking & Transportation Office reminds students to please be kind to our local neighbors and avoid a ticket or possible towing by not illegally parking on residential streets surrounding our campus.

    The City of Cookeville has reported challenges with students double parked on residential streets and sidewalks and, in some cases, blocking driveways. As a reminder, ample parking is typically available in the red and purple zoned lots near Tech Village and the intramural fields. The university also offers a convenient, free shuttle to get you around campus. See more information here.
