Join the Student Members of the American Chemical Society (SMACS) as we learn about the field of Green Chemistry as part of our National Chemistry Week celebrations! SMACS Green Chemistry Chair and chemistry major Bella Cable will give a presentation on the history and principles of Green Chemistry on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 6:00 p.m. in LSC 1207. The Student Members of the American Chemical Society (SMACS) will celebrate National Chemistry Week by constructing a custom periodic table on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Centennial Plaza. Are you curious about what students in the Honors Program at Tech do in their courses? Join us Oct. 22 between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Tech Pride Room (RUC 101) to learn about Honors students’ research and projects! This event is conference style, so attend anytime during the duration and circulate to interact with the presenters. We welcome you to support Honors students as they describe their work. Free and open to all!
