The Center for Addiction Prevention & Support at Tennessee Tech University is hosting an art contest for emerging adults ages 18-29, on March 27, 2026 from 5:30 to 7 p.m at the center’s office at 10 W Broad Street, Cookeville (Regions Bank building).
The contest theme is self-image and its link to a drug-free future. Participants are invited to submit original artwork that reflects how positive self-image supports healthy choices and prevention.
The winning artwork will be featured as the centerpiece of a social media and prevention campaign. The winner will also receive a gift basket. Submissions are due March 27. To sign up, use the QR code on the event flyer, or email rbussell@tntech.edu.
Think you can handle the heat? Join Fan Food Frenzy, our spicy wing eating contest, on March 12 at 11:15am in the Caf. Only the bravest will win a prize! Participation is limited to 10 contestants, so sign up through the QR code or the link on our social media @TNTech_Dining. Come watch the action!

The Center for Addiction Prevention & Support will host Arrive Alive from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 on the main quad.
Arrive Alive is a safety awareness event focused on the dangers of drinking and driving. Students are invited to learn practical strategies for making responsible decisions, protecting their friends, and staying safe over spring break.
Participants will have the opportunity to pledge to Arrive Alive. Free pizza will be available while supplies last.
