    Student Affairs Student Spotlight – Ethan White

    Meet Ethan White, our Student Affairs Student Spotlight!

    Ethan is a senior at Tennessee Tech double majoring in Physics and Mathematics. He serves as a Resident Assistant and is the co-founder of Trash Force, an environmental organization focused on litter cleanup across the Cumberland Plateau. Since its founding, Trash Force has collected 1,746 pounds of litter, logged over 250 volunteer hours, and was recognized as Tech’s “Best New Student Organization.”

    Tennessee Tech Police Department: Know Tennessee’s Pedestrian Laws

    In Tennessee, pedestrians have the right-of-way in marked crosswalks and at intersections—but safety is a shared responsibility. Always use crosswalks when available and obey pedestrian signals. Don’t suddenly step into traffic. Make eye contact with drivers before crossing. Drivers must yield to pedestrians in crosswalks and exercise due care to avoid collisions. Stay alert, heads up, phones down, and help keep everyone safe.

    Center Stage invites students, faculty and staff to “Dumplings Around the World,” a celebration of international cuisines, on Tuesday, April 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the RUC Multipurpose Room. The free event will include live music and delicious foods, including a variety of savory and sweet dumplings. We hope to see you there!     Take a break and enjoy a FREE cup of coffee while speaking with recruiters from Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) on Tues, March 30, at 10 a.m. in the RUC’s Swoops Food Court.

    THP is a law enforcement agency that enforces all laws related to traffic on Tennessee’s highways. Their mission is to serve and protect through patrol, criminal interdiction, and intelligence gathering.
