IMPACT TTU invites you to volunteer with or donate books to the One Book One World (OBOW) Library Initiative! From October 19 through November 30, OBOW will hold a book drive for new and gently used books that will be donated to local families. This is a great opportunity to make an impact on our local community, as research shows that a large home library with an assortment of books means a child is likely to have not only better test scores but also a higher understanding of literacy in general. For this fall book drive, OBOW is teaming up with Impact Tech, Rural Reimagined at TTU, and Teens Need Training. This fall we would like to have STEM-related books, but we are grateful for any donations. We’ve created an Amazon wishlist for inspiration, or, if the mood strikes – actual purchase. We are on Facebook @OBOWLibrary. Visit the wishlist here ttps://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/370YJEN6I6YYA?ref_=wl_share, or contact Mr. Chris Qualls at mcqualls@tntech.edu to learn more.
