Starring in 50+ episodes of the Science Channel’s “Outrageous Acts of Science” and runner up on The Discovery Channel’s “The Big Brain Theory,” Dr. Amy Elliott is a scientist on-camera and off. By day, Dr. Elliott is a research staff at Oak Ridge National Laboratory specializing in inkjet and photopolymer-based additive manufacturing technology. Her path to a science started with a passion for engineering in the TTU ME program followed by a revelation about what research was in her second year of grad school.
