Straight Curve: Redefining Body Image screening on Tuesday, March 3

Join the Women’s Center for a screening of Straight/Curve: Redefining Body Image, a ninety-minute film followed by a short discussion and light refreshments. Straight/Curve examines the industries and social obstacles responsible for the current body image crisis and showcases the dynamic leaders fighting for more diversity of size, race and age. At a time when our brain processes images 60,000 times faster than words, this film bolsters a movement to redefine society’s unrealistic and dangerous standards of beauty. This event is free and open to the public on Tuesday, March 3 at 7 p.m. in Johnson Hall 401.
