Friday Café is the hands-on learning experience for foods and nutrition students in Human Ecology. Friday Café will serve six meals for fall semester. Dates will be Sept 17, Sept 24, Oct 1, Oct 8, Oct 22 and Oct 29. Menus are posted on Marketplace and on the Human Ecology Friday Café webpage. This fall semester students will utilize vegetables grown at Shipley Farm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, meals will be a carryout option only. If COVID restrictions change and we are able to move meals to the dining room, an update will be provided. There will be three time pick-up options each week (11:45 am, 12:00 pm, and 12:15 pm) with a limit of 12 meals for each time slot. Meals will be available for pickup inside the front door of Oakley Hall. Meal purchase is made through Marketplace by making prepayment by noon on Wednesday. Meal cost will be $8.50. We are unable to process refunds at this time. A portion of the increase will be used to provide free Friday Café meals to students who utilize the Food Pantry this semester.
