University policy requires departments to notify the Office of Internal Audit of any external audits or reviews conducted in their area.
If your department is contacted by an outside entity—such as a state agency, federal program, or grantor—for an audit or examination, please report this to the Office of Internal Audit by emailing internalaudit@tntech.edu. Please include the auditing organization, scope, and timing.
