Beginning this week, the university will add a fourth shuttle during peak times and introduce an “express route” that runs continuously between the West Purple Lot and the corner of Stadium Drive and University Drive near the Ashraf Islam Engineering Building, with wait times of less than five minutes. Additionally, the university will begin communicating time-sensitive parking messages –including construction impacts, temporary lot closures and reopenings, and traffic flow changes for special events – through the Passio GO app, which many of you already use to monitor shuttle locations and wait times.
To use the app, download Passio GO for free in the Apple Store or on Google Play. Once the app is installed, go to “My Agency” on the left-hand side of the app and search “Tennessee Tech,” then click to select. By enabling push notifications, users can receive a message on their phone’s lock screen any time a new parking message is shared.
