Information Technology Services (ITS) is currently investigating an issue involving MachForm, which is one of the university’s online forms/survey platforms. We are sharing this notice to keep our university community informed and provide precautionary steps you can take while our investigation continues.
What’s happening: On Sunday, November 1, 2026, ITS became aware of an issue that may involve information submitted through MachForm. Our investigation is ongoing, and at this time we have not confirmed whether any submitted information was acquired.
What we’re doing: ITS is actively investigating and continues to take steps to protect the MachForm platform and the data it contains. If we determine that any personal information as defined in TCA § 47-18-2107(a)(4) was acquired, we will notify affected individuals directly with more information.
How you can help:

Be cautious of unexpected emails, phone calls, or text messages from individuals or organizations that claim to have personal information about you from Tennessee Tech University systems.

DO NOT click on any link in those communications or reply to the sender.
