Meet Lauren Watson, our April Student Affairs Student Spotlight! Lauren earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from Georgia State University and is now a master’s student in Environmental Informatics at Tech. Lauren currently serves as Vice President of the Tennessee Scenic Rivers Association and recently helped plant 50 trees in the Cookeville community for Tennessee Tree Day 2025. She also played a key role in organizing a Sierra Club meeting on campus and advocated for legislation like the Tennessee Waste to Jobs Act as a District Ambassador during Conservation Day on the Hill. This summer, Lauren will intern with a transportation infrastructure company in Nashville on their Environmental Planning team. Congrats, Lauren!
