The first Undergraduate STEM Research Seminar of the semester will be this Friday at 4pm in Bruner Hall 210. (Snacks will be served starting at 3:30pm.) The speaker will be Dr. Vincente Guiseppe from Oak Ridge National Lab. In his talk A LEGENDary Program: Searching for Neutrinoless Double-Beta Decay in Ge-76, Dr. Guiseppe will describe the technological innovations required in the search for a process that, if observed, would change our understanding of the universe. These seminars are geared for undergraduates from any STEM major, but graduate students and faculty are also encouraged to attend!
