Undergraduate STEM Research Seminar: Benjamin Luna, Clemson University

278

Please join us this Friday for our first Undergraduate STEM Research Seminar of the semester, which will be given by Benjamin Luna, a previous TTU undergraduate who is currently working on his Ph.D. in physics at Clemson University. Benjamin’s research involves developing a better understanding of foundational concepts in physics, which can affect how physicists utilize physical principles in their work and can improve the teaching of physics at all levels. In his talk Not All Uniform B-Fields Are The Same!, Benjamin will focus on classical electrodynamics, presenting a refinement of our usual understanding of electric and magnetic fields that provides greater insight into real physical processes. The seminar will be this Friday at 4pm in Bruner Hall 210. (Snacks will be served starting at 3:30pm.) These seminars are geared for undergraduates from any STEM major, but graduate students and faculty are encouraged to attend! For questions, contact aholley@tntech.edu
