Tech Faculty Seeking Graduate Students for Rural Reimagined Grant Project

Are you a graduate student looking for a funding opportunity, opportunities for certification, and to make a meaningful difference in the Upper Cumberland area?

A faculty team from the Departments of Sociology & Political Science, Curriculum & Instruction, and School of Human Ecology are seeking to hire 3 graduate students to work on a grant-funded project through Rural Reimagined that will bring Mental Health First Aid and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) trainings to community members throughout 4 Upper Cumberland counties.

In this role, graduate students will become trained ACEs instructors (and will be paid during their training); and will then conduct ACEs trainings with community members primarily in Clay, Jackson, Putnam, and White counties.

Employment will begin no later than February 1st, 2023 and end in June 2023. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour for 10 to 15 hours per week.
