Student Chapter of ACS to Co-Host Meeting and Speaker in LSC

The Student Members of the American Chemical Society (ACS) Student Chapter at Tennessee Tech will co-host a meeting with the Nashville Local Section of ACS on Thursday, February 23, in Laboratory Science Commons 1211. Dr. Pamela Leggett-Robinson, CEO and Executive Director for PLR Consulting in Atlanta, GA, will present, “Investing in the Chemical Enterprise: Broadening Participation through the Lens of Intellectual, Social, and Environmental STEM Activism.”

A reception with refreshments will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the presentation will begin at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Dr. Leggett-Robinson recently won the 2022 Stanley C. Israel Regional Award for Advancing Diversity in the Chemical Sciences at the Southeastern Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society.
