Tennessee Tech advisors attend regional conference

Representatives of Tennessee Tech’s academic advising community attended the 2022 NACADA Region 3 conference, held February 21-23, in Knoxville, TN.  Conference participants interacted with colleagues from Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina in the first in-person Regional conference since 2019.

Advisors shared knowledge, experiences, and research in more than 40 sessions throughout the conference, including three presentations by Tennessee Tech advisors:

Dear College Freshman received “Best of Region” recognition and may represent Region 3 at the national NACADA conference in October 2022 in Portland, OR.

Attending from Tennessee Tech were Diana Baker, Susan Cadle, Simone McKelvey, Laura Nisbet, and Kayla Wilson of the Launchpad Student Success Center, and Sherrie Cannon, Melissa Creek, Julie Galloway, and Olivia Jolley of the College of Business Student Success Center.
