Tennessee Tech’s Center State presents She-e Wu, a composer and marimba player, in person on Wednesday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Wattenbarger Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
She-e Wu is one of the world’s most in-demand marimba soloists and educators. In addition to her work as an educator and performer, Wu has composed multiple pieces, the latest of which, “What the Sun Would Say to the Sky,” for marimba quartet, was premiered at PASIC 2011 in Indianapolis. Her signature mallets with Innovative Percussion are available worldwide. Wu is currently the director of Percussion Studies at Northwestern University.
