Tennessee Tech’s iCube is working with our local PBS station on this year’s WCTE-PBS Downtown Film Festival scheduled for August 28th on Cookeville’s West Side. Submissions will be accepted now through July 24th.

Categories for competition this year include Best Documentary, Best Mini-Documentary, the Stanger Award honoring the best-unfinished documentary, the Young Filmmakers Award, and the Tennessee Filmmaker Award, a new award category this year open to native Tennessee directors, producers, writers, or films shot primarily in Tennessee. Winners will receive recognition and have their work featured on WCTE in 2022. To submit your film or to find more information, visit DowntownFilm.org. We are encouraging local submissions by offering the coupon code: LOCALSUBMISSION, which will waive the entry to any of our award categories at https://filmfreeway.com/WCTE-PBSDowntownFilmFestival.
