Our seminar this week features a presentation from TTU’s chapter of Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS). In their talk High-Powered Rockets and Circumnavigation with SEDS, representatives from this student-led club will describe the design of their first payload rocket system as well as a large-scale project in which they plan to construct a high altitude balloon capable of circumnavigation. Their talk will be this Friday, Feb. 28th, at 3pm in Foundation Hall 238, with refreshments served at 2:30pm. This seminar series is geared for undergraduates from any STEM major, but graduate students and faculty are also encouraged to attend! Visit the seminar webpage to see the full Spring 2020 schedule.
