439

Dr. Emily Martin from the Center for Earth and Planetary Studies at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum will be visiting this week to describe her work producing a detailed, digital geologic map of Triton’s geologically active surface. Dr. Martin will discuss how this work ties into our understanding of the solar system’s formation as well as describe the challenges involved in making planetary geologic maps.
