This week in the Undergraduate STEM Research Seminar Series, we will hear from Physics Major Aaron Kindred and Mechanical Engineering Major Sung-Kyung Lee about their work studying isotopes of krypton (Kr) in an effort to better understand a puzzling feature of nuclei connected to Kr by radioactive decay. The seminar, Beta-Decay Spectroscopy of 96,97,98,99Kr, will be this Friday (Jan. 31st) at 3pm in Foundation Hall 238, with refreshments served at 2:30pm. Visit the seminar webpage to see a full abstract. This seminar series is geared for undergraduates from any STEM major, but graduate students and faculty are also encouraged to attend!
