Book club is back! On Tuesday March 3, from 11:00 – 11:50 a.m. in RUC 339, the Women’s Center is hosting the 2nd monthly book club meeting of the semester. Missed the first meeting, No worries! This semester, the club is reading Things No One Will Tell Fat Girls by Jess Baker. The book focuses on fat prejudice, body shaming, and loving your body. Baker writes, “If you are a person with a body this book is for you.”
Thanks to inclusive discussion, all are welcome at book club. There are books available to check out for one week at a time from the Women’s Center. New and used copies are available on Amazon. You are encouraged to read the first 104 pages but not required – this is all just for fun!
