Senior Dennis Ogbe, an electrical engineering major and forward with the Golden Eagles, was named to the Capital One Academic All-America Division I CoSIDA/Basketball Team.
He has been named Academic All-District twice and has made the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll all seven semesters of his time at Tech. He was listed on the OVC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll each of the past three years and earned the OVC Medal of Honor twice.
This season, he led the basketball team in both scoring and rebounding. For his career, he ranks second on Tech’s all-time list of field goal percentage with a mark of .608.
Ogbe, from Munich, Germany, is the 36th Golden Eagle since 1976 to achieve this honor.
