Blood supplies are currently critically low right now, so every pint donated is greatly appreciated!<\/p>\n<p>You can sign up to register at http:\/\/bloodassurance.org\/ttuapo\/<\/p>\n<p>A few facts about giving blood:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>4.5 million Americans will need blood during each year.<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>43,000 pints of blood is used each day in the US and Canada.<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>1 in 7 people entering a hospital need blood.<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>There are four blood types (A, B, AB and O). AB is the universal receipient.
