In this class, students will build and expand their vocabulary of blown shapes in the hotshop and refine their skills in basic glassblowing technique. We will cover the techniques behind the most basic shapes in blown glass including cylinders, bottles and bowls; and discuss how variations in those shapes can lead to a near limitless variety of forms.
