This year the race will be starting at 9 a.m.at Stonecipher Lecture Hall. We invite all Tennessee Tech students and faculty to enter and run the race this year. You can register for the race via the website,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.goldenhelix5k.com\/\">https:\/\/www.goldenhelix5k.com\/. <\/a>All Tennessee Tech students can get $10 off the race registration by using the code &#8220;Awesome&#8221; at checkout. If you are a Tennessee Tech student, please bring your Tech ID to packet pickup. The guaranteed t-shirt deadline is 9 p.m. on Friday Sept. 29.<\/p>\n<p>The race is organized by the Student Affiliates of the American Society of Biochemistry and Microbiology (ASBMB) with the assistance of the Student Members of the American Chemical Society (SMACS) and the Chem-Med Club. <span class=\"C9DxTc \">Proceeds from the race benefit the ASBMB and SMACS clubs, as well as the <\/span><span class=\"C9DxTc aw5Odc \">Cookeville Remote Area Medical (RAM) Clinic<\/span><span class=\"C9DxTc \">, and the&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"C9DxTc aw5Odc \">Tennessee Technological University Foundation Chemistry Scholarships<\/span><span class=\"C9DxTc \">.
