If a student absence notification request is approved, the student\u2019s faculty will receive a notice via email with a link to the absence memorandum.<\/p>\n<p>Please note these emails originate from <a href=\"mailto:notifications@maxient.com\">notifications@maxient.com<\/a>. Student Affairs has worked with ITS to ensure these communications bypass Tech\u2019s email filters so they will not appear in clutter or junk folders. The <strong>Maxient emails<\/strong> will contain the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>Subject line \u201cStudent Affairs Absence Notification,\u201d<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>Body text indicating the emails are official correspondence from the Student Affairs Office, and<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>Branded with the Student Affairs seal.<\/ul>\n<p>As always, faculty members are welcome to contact the Student Affairs Office at <a href=\"mailto:studentaffairs@tntech.edu\">studentaffairs@tntech.edu<\/a> or 931-372-3411 if they have questions regarding these communications.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tntech.edu\/sa\/student-absence-notification.php\">Student Absence Notifications<\/a> page on the Student Affairs website.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we transition to a new notification system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new electronic process for delivering student absence notifications is now in place.
