Rural Reimagined would like to recognize Dr. Katherine Hermann-Turner (Counseling and Psychology) and Dr. Jonathan Wiley (Counseling and Psychology) for receiving Level 2 funding ($2,500-$10,000) from our Faculty Grant Program. Dr. Hermann-Turner’s team proposed their project titled \u201cRural Mothers Birth Experiences,\u201d which uses a qualitative phenomenological mythology study to explore how support systems for \u201cpostpartum women in rural communities could affect mothers\u2019 perceptions of birthing experiences, with special attention to birth trauma,\u201d by studying participant\u2019s unique experiences. Their project could help local counselors better advocate and support women\u2019s needs as well as potentially make changes to therapeutic services in rural Tennessee communities \u201cand subsequently to women in rural communities across the country and the world.\u201d We congratulate Drs.
