In observance of Counseling Awareness Month and Mental Health Awareness Month, the TN Tech Counseling Center and Student Government Association are partnering to sponsor the Mental Health Matters t-shirt sale for support of the Patricia Smith Scholarship fund. This scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a degree in mental health counseling. 100% of the t-shirt proceeds will go to the scholarship. Monetary gifts and donations will also be accepted. Thank you for your support!<\/p>\n

“Mental Health Matters” is a TN Tech Student Government Association initiative sponsored in partnership with the TN Tech University Counseling Center to bring awareness to the importance of addressing the mental health of TN Tech students.<\/p>\n

Patricia Smith is a 1994 TN Tech alumna who also served as the director of the TN Tech Counseling Center. She dedicated her 30-year career in behavioral and mental health to building a counseling center that emphasized student success and resilience.<\/p>\n

The last day to order is Friday, May 6th.
