The drill is an important exercise that allows the Tennessee Tech\u00a0community to test its readiness in the case of emergency conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The sequence of the drill:<\/p>\n<p><strong>11:30 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A tornado \u201cwarning\u201d message will be issued via:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>text alert<\/li>\n<li>emergency alarm systems<\/li>\n<li>digital signage (Main campus only)<\/li>\n<li>broadcast e-mail to University faculty, students and staff<\/li>\n<li>outdoor sirens (Main campus only)<\/li>\n<li>broadcast intercom systems in select buildings (Main campus only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Once the tornado \u201cwarning\u201d message is received, all members of the campus community should quickly and safely evacuate to the designated areas within each respective building.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>11:45 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wait for the \u201cAll Clear\u201d to be issued.
