The TTU chapter of the AAUP is seeking renewals and new members for the Tech chapter of AAUP.\u00a0 Please e-mail Daniel Ernst, Treasurer and Membership Chair, at <a href=\"mailto:dernst@tntech.edu\">dernst@tntech.edu<\/a> for the current form (campus mailbox English Dept. Box 5053).\u00a0 Payroll deduction forms are due this week; for payroll deduction, we must have your renewal or membership form <strong>in hand<\/strong> <strong>no later than<\/strong> <strong>Sept. 14<\/strong>. The first meeting of the year will be Wed. Sept. 15 4:30-5:30 via googlemeet.\u00a0 Contact Andrew Smith (<a href=\"mailto:asmith@tntech.edu\">asmith@tntech.edu<\/a>) for the link. We hope you will consider joining or renewing your membership to this vital organization amid such transformative times in higher education.<\/p>\n<p>You can also join directly on the AAUP website, but the TTU AAUP chapter asks for a modest local fee of $10 which we ask you to send us separately.<\/p>\n<p>We hope for a great academic year 2021-2 and you can help make it so by joining the AAUP.
