Workplace injuries should be reported timely to the 24/7 nurse triage line (866-245-8588) and, for non-life threatening injuries, before the employee seeks medical attention. Should an employee who sustains a workplace injury (excluding serious bodily injuries or life threatening injuries) seek medical attention before calling the 24/7 nurse triage line, the employer may be penalized five hundred dollars ($500) per claim.

Should an employee or employer not report a workplace injury within three (3) business days after sustaining said injury, the employer may be penalized five hundred dollars ($500) per claim that was not timely reported.
