Automobile accidents involving vehicle damage or bodily injuries to a citizen (third party) or citizen’s vehicle should be reported to the State’s Automobile Accident Call Center within twenty-four hours after the accident occurs involving a third party.

Should an employee not call the State of Tennessee Automobile Accident Call Center (855-253-0629) or the employer not call the Automobile Accident Call Center within twenty-four hours of the vehicular accident, the employer may pay a penalty of one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each accident that was not timely reported.
