Maddux/McCord residence halls are the latest to undergo complete renovation. The buildings will be closed for 2016-2017 and are expected to reopen for occupancy at the start of the 2017-2018 academic year.
The project, overseen by the university’s Capital Projects office, will see the following improvements:
- Enclosure of breezeway to create new interior space
- New Living Learning Village classroom
- New roof
- New HVAC and plumbing systems
- New furnishings, lighting, and wall and floor finishes
Jobe/Murphy were the latest residence halls to undergo renovation, and the Maddux/McCord project will be similar in its outcome.
