So today marks fifteen whole days until I graduate, and what a whirlwind this past month has been: World Cup VIII, J-Week, award ceremonies, my last tours and endless hours tying loose ends.
I can’t believe it.
This chaos is normal. I love this chaos. I can’t live without it.
It’s crazy to think I can be some one else besides my college self. That’s all I’ve become, and all I’ve been as a “grown-up,” that is, if I even am one yet.
I am moving the day before graduation and starting a job right after. On to the real world.
A world where you don’t see your best friends every day, goof off in class, spend hours outside playing sports, eat ten ice-cream cones because you can, enjoy the freedom of having everything you need, and going to bed exhausted from doing it all. That’s life. That’s really living if you ask me.
This will definitely be a new chapter, or maybe even a new book. One thing I KNOW is that TTU has changed me for good. I’ve done a lot of growing up here, and growing as a person.
Without Tech, I’m not Kimmy.
So the countdown begins …
